By Matt Devotee Of Lilith
Lilith...
She who is many and at the same time is single...
She who is so many things and is ancient in background and knowledge, who means so very much to me, has to be talked about!
My fascination with her started many years ago when I had an experience with her which changed the way I see life and the whole view of what is important.
I have a connection with her and this connection has grown over the years and in the last year to levels I never thought possible.
She is a mother, Lover, Powerful Magic user, Goddess of The night, Lust, forbidden topics, and so much I will likely not remember to give her credit for. Sorry!
She is first and foremost a Goddess and demonised throughout History as she did not fit in with what certain people and certain religious backgrounds wanted.
She has shown to me power, visions, images through Scrying work, Given me tasks and connected me to one of her daughters who works with me directly - Much like a Rep does for a business or an ambassador, is how she achieves to be so much to so many.
Just like every child in a family is different, so to are Lilith's Children!
Lilith has a way of knowing which ones to connect to her followers, to keep them guided and focused.
She Is unique (As far as I am aware) in that she reigns supreme, while having others work and do the tasks she is happy to have done.
Empowerment through her is something that comes with the territory and she will make you face difficult topics and be a stronger and more powerful version of you.
She is understanding as well (To a point) in that she will help and empower you where you may lack.
I have done so much work with her and It is through the Gods and Goddess's like Odin, Freya and Perhaps most importantly Isis have led to me working with Lilith.
The Gods/Goddess's know what we need.
I wanted her to have a bit of a mention and will likely continue to add bits in about her from time to time.
Most of the work is personal and deep so the surface levels of her are the items I will focus on here.
I have communicated with her in multiple ways and at various times...
The key to remember is that Lilith comes when she chooses, you do not get to demand her presence!
There is no summoning her by force, the only option is that you can reach out to her and ask, that is all.
Once you accept this and that she is very much the one in control of her timings, you will be much happier.
Likely so too would Lilith.
I am still just as happy to learn and write about her, worship and work with her as I have ever been, if not more so.
As we approach this Solar Eclipse - Happy Weds and Hail Queen Lilith and S -Daughter of Queen Lilith.
Blessed Be.

Excerpt from Lindsey’s current writing project on Eclectic Paganism
Walking Between Traditions
One of the questions I have been asked most often over the years is simple:
"What kind of Pagan are you?"
It is a reasonable question, and one that many seekers eventually ask themselves. Yet, for some of us, the answer is not easily contained within a single label.
We live in an age where information, traditions, and ideas are more accessible than ever before. Books, communities, and voices from countless spiritual paths are available at the touch of a screen or the turn of a page. For many modern Pagans, the journey does not lead to one specific tradition, but rather to a weaving together of many influences that speak to the heart and soul.
This approach is often called Eclectic Paganism.
Unfortunately, the word "Eclectic" is sometimes misunderstood. To some, it suggests inconsistency, or the careless mixing of whatever happens to be appealing. Critics occasionally dismiss Eclectic practice as "just making it up."
But perhaps all living traditions are, in some sense, made by people seeking meaning.
Eclecticism is not about abandoning history, ignoring scholarship, or collecting spiritual ideas like ornaments. It is not an excuse to avoid learning or to disregard the cultures and traditions from which our practices arise.
Rather, Eclectic Paganism is the art of spiritual weaving.
It is the recognition that wisdom can be found in many places, and that each of us must ultimately cultivate a practice that is authentic, meaningful, and based on relationship rather than rigid conformity. It is about making something which is our own and which is a true reflection of who we are and how we wish to work spiritually.
There is a profound difference between creating a personal path and simply inventing one without thought or responsibility.
Personal practice requires discernment.
It requires research. It requires respect.
And perhaps most importantly, it requires humility.
No one person, no one book, and no one tradition possesses every answer. We are all students of mystery.
Throughout history, cultures have rarely existed in complete isolation. Ideas, customs, and beliefs have flowed across borders through trade, migration, conquest, and conversation. The ancient Greeks encountered Egyptian religion. The Romans absorbed and adapted the Gods and practices of the peoples they encountered. Celtic and Germanic traditions influenced one another. Folk Christianity and local customs became intertwined across Europe.
Human spirituality has always been dynamic.
Syncretism— the blending and adaptation of traditions—is not a modern invention. It is part of humanity's spiritual story.
This does not mean that every combination is appropriate, nor that all traditions are interchangeable. Respect matters. Context matters. Some practices belong within specific cultural frameworks and should be approached with sensitivity and care.
To walk an Eclectic Path is not to claim ownership over everything. It is to recognise that there are things we may learn from, things we may respectfully admire from a distance, and things that may not belong to us at all.
For me, Eclecticism is not the rejection of tradition.
It is the recognition that tradition itself is alive.
Some Pagans are reconstructionist, seeking to revive and preserve ancient practices as faithfully as possible. I deeply respect this work. Historical research and reconstruction provide invaluable foundations and help prevent modern Paganism from becoming untethered from the cultures and peoples that came before us.
Yet history itself is incomplete - much has been lost – especially from those traditions which were mostly oral (like the Druids of the Celts).
Many traditions survive only in fragments, glimpsed through archaeology, folklore, poetry, and the writings of outsiders. Even reconstruction involves interpretation.
In this sense, all modern Pagans are engaged in some form of spiritual restoration and renewal.
Our paths may differ, but our desire to connect with the sacred is shared.
For some, that connection is found through strict adherence to a particular tradition. For others, it emerges through careful study combined with personal experience, intuition, and a willingness to walk between worlds.
Neither path is inherently superior.
They are simply different ways of approaching the mystery.
The path I walk has been shaped by books and folklore, by historical sources and modern voices, by moments of wonder, by mistakes, by personal gnosis, and by years of asking questions for which there are no simple answers. It is not perfect. It continues to evolve.
And perhaps that is one of the greatest gifts of Eclectic Paganism.
It reminds us that spirituality is not a destination we arrive at once and for all. It is a living relationship.
Most of the groups I have been part of, or led, have been eclectic by their very nature for these reasons.
When you find yourself in a group or community where they want you to follow their way only (they do exist within modern Paganism, I have found myself in them and swiftly removed myself) it can mean that you are closing yourself off to the possibilities of what you could learn, what you can connect with and what you can experience. You may be confining yourself to a box that doesn’t always give a true reflection of who you are on your Pagan Pathway.
With Eclectic Paganism (& Witchcraft), we have a constant flow of new inspirations, new interactions and exciting new things to discover as well as developing parts of ourselves to a higher level.
Like the spiral, we may return again and again to familiar themes, each time with deeper understanding.
And in weaving together the threads that speak to our hearts, we do not diminish the tapestry.
We become part of its creation.
